South Devon UTC Website & Prospectus
The relationship between South Devon University Technical College and Matrix is a shining example of how our integrated creative agency services can blend marketing efforts into a harmonious whole.
When South Devon UTC came to us for a website revamp, the request was part of a bigger package – they also needed a range of print materials and a 32-page prospectus in digital and print formats. These projects needed to be unified by a new branding aesthetic adopted by the college.
South Devon UTC already knew our track record at Matrix. Before this latest project, we had successfully orchestrated a recruitment campaign for the college (see here) and we had built their website originally.
This latest wave of changes would require some specialist additions to South Devon UTC’s website, striking the right tone for their re-brand, and all on a tight schedule.
Our re-working of South Devon UTC’s website delivered a bang-up-to-date digital resource enhanced by a raft of new functionality and design elements. A show-stopping new feature of the homepage is a bespoke slider with multiple embedded video feeds – an inventive piece of coding to realise an idea that the college loved.
The website is the ideal expression of South Devon UTC’s new branding aesthetic. With its stylishly flat design, responsive layout and retina-ready resolution, the site is modern and striking.
Structurally, it handles a large amount of information for diverse groups of readers. This includes learning resources, information about employer-partners, updates for prospective students and other essential information – all organised to create a logical, uncluttered user journey.
In addition to the website re-launch, we created the required prospectus in parallel. This successfully complemented the design values of the website, resulting in an integrated package that helped reinforce the college’s branding and key messages.
We delivered this bundle of services for South Devon UTC to a strict timescale and achieved a high impact. This project was a testament to the power of integrating our diverse strengths as a creative team – and to our ongoing commitment to valued long-term client relationships.
